1947 | Sir James Dyson was born in North folk, England.

1966 | Studied furniture and interior design at the Royal College of Art.

1970 | The Sea Truck, James Dyson’s first product design, was invented. The Sea Truck is a high-speed watercraft made from fiberglass, which is used to land vehicles without harbour facilities.

1974 | Designs the Ballbarrow, which is a variation of a wheelbarrow. The ball structure prevents the wheel from sinking into the soft ground.

1983 | Produces his first prototype vacuum cleaner, called the G-Force. This was the world’s first bagless cyclonic vacuum cleaner invented.

2001 | The first vacuum using Root Cyclone technology is released. The Cyclone separation helps remove dust and air particles from the air stream.

2014 | With over 16 years of research, Dyson invents the 360 eye robot vacuum. This vacuum cleaner functions without any human assistance.

2016 | Dyson Supersonic hairdryer is designed, which focuses on the intelligent heat control to protect the natural shine of the hair.
